Site-Specific, Written Remediation Instructions

Every protocol provides detailed, room-by-room instructions for containment, material removal, cleaning methods, and safety procedures for remediators to follow.

Required for Proper Mold Remediation

A written protocol is required before remediation begins to ensure work is performed correctly, legally, and without conflicts of interest.

Independent Post-Remediation Verification

After remediation, we perform clearance testing and visual verification to confirm the property meets acceptable conditions for re-occupancy.

Protocols Contractors Follow. Verification Everyone Trusts.

Our protocols guide the remediation process from start to finish, and our PRV testing provides unbiased confirmation that the work was completed properly.

Who This Is For

When You Need a Mold Protocol or PRV

A mold protocol or post-remediation verification is needed anytime mold has been identified, remediation is planned or completed, or there is a need to document that a property has been properly returned to acceptable condition.

These documents are commonly requested during insurance claims, real estate transactions, legal disputes, and property management situations.

What Is a Mold Remediation Protocol?

A mold remediation protocol is a written document prepared by a licensed mold assessor that outlines the scope of work required to properly remediate mold from a property. It specifies which areas are affected, what materials need to be removed or treated, what containment procedures are required, and what clearance standards must be met. Florida law requires that remediation protocols be prepared by a licensed mold assessor — not the remediation contractor — to ensure there is no conflict of interest.

What Is Post-Remediation Verification (PRV)?

Post-Remediation Verification, or PRV, is an independent inspection performed after mold remediation is complete. It confirms that the remediation work was performed correctly and that mold levels have returned to normal. A PRV includes air sampling, surface sampling where applicable, and a written clearance report. Many insurance carriers require a PRV before closing a water damage or mold claim. Without a passing PRV from an independent licensed assessor, there is no documentation that the remediation was successful.

Why Use an Independent Assessor?

Florida law prohibits the same company from performing both mold assessment and mold remediation on the same property. Super Green Environmental is strictly an assessment firm — we prepare protocols and perform PRV testing, but we never perform remediation. This means our clearance reports are unbiased and defensible in insurance claims, legal disputes, and regulatory proceedings. Our license number is MRSA2418, issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Who We Serve

We provide mold remediation protocols and PRV services for property owners, remediation contractors, insurance carriers, public adjusters, and attorneys throughout Florida and Texas. Our reports are accepted by insurers, used in litigation, and meet all Florida Department of Health standards for mold assessment.
